Tim Massey

Tim is an Executive Vice President and is responsible for execution and business development in both Department of Defense and Commercial efforts. Prior to joining Cahaba, Tim served as the Chief Growth Officer for Radiance Technologies where he identified and pursued new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion priorities.  

His prior assignment at Radiance was the Executive Vice President of the Defense Sector where he oversaw execution of a wide variety of programs to include high energy laser development and test, system modeling and simulation, aviation system engineering, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance program modernization. 

Before joining Radiance, Tim worked for over 20 years at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).  His positions at SAIC included Vice President of Business Development focusing on US Army customers and Vice President of the Science and Technology Division where he was responsible for all aspects of the business including profit and loss, customer relationships, program execution, business development and personnel management. He has also supported the intelligence community and other DoD agencies with ballistic and surface-to-air missile modeling and threat definition, radar modeling and simulation, intelligence analysis, and joint US-Israeli ballistic missile development programs. 

Tim graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and later earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He lives near Huntsville, Alabama with his wife, Stephanie and has a son attending engineering school at Auburn University and a daughter attending medical school at the University of South Alabama.
